A Tour In Pictures…

SRG is Reverse Engineering The Future with innovation schools based on an Earth Farms and Space Science curriculum. These self-sufficient schools teach, feed and equip local students in the developing world with zero tuition. We also do fun citizen science online. Supporting and inspiring new generations of innovators is how we will engineer a better tomorrow.

This is a tour in pictures…

The Life Support System (DHOPS Instruction Set – V7-3-5) is how we feed staff, students & families. The Delta Hybrid Oven Pyrolizer Smoker can operate with near zero energy costs via solar and biomass power but is simple and reliable enough for use in remote areas. DHOPS is also a research facility used in SFAST (see below) and works as the heart of a community center:

The SMART School Site Plan (Modular Campus Model – V7-9) is a template plan for self-sufficient innovation schools we can build anywhere there is no winter. At SMART schools Students do Media, Art, and Research projects in Teams:

The Construction Priority & Roof Data (Site Plan Overlay – V1-8) shows what order we will build structures in and allows calculations for budgeting, rain catchment, roof top solar arrays, etc. The bright yellow structures are built first:

SFAST (Space Food Analog Series Testing – V1-5-6) – This is the Earth Farms element of our citizen science. The science of space nutrition can end hunger here on Earth. This research identifies a “mission analog” ingredient list of things that have been – and can be – grown in space. People around the world test new space food recipes made with that list. We investigate production, crumbs generated, nose-plugged taste tests, etc. We also improve food systems here on Earth.

The MEU Burton (Future History – 2049 Reference Design – V2-9-8) is a real technology interplanetary space cruiser design we are developing for science fiction and science education. We probably won’t ever build her, but this is a fun Space Science element of our citizen science program and the hero ship in a universe of adventure to come:
