About Us
Mission: We build innovation schools in the developing world, produce meaningful media, and create opportunities for those who have little.
We achieve this online and by building small, self-sufficient space science schools in the developing world. Students in need pay zero tuition. We provide healthy meals on campus, supplies, and food parcels for families – all at no charge. We teach STEAM including advanced agronomy, food systems, robotics, space science, media production, and more. Let’s bring space down to Earth and find bright stars – the innovators of tomorrow that would otherwise go undiscovered.
Along every step of the way staff and students produce genuine, engaging, heartwarming media for everyone to enjoy and explore. Join us to make an impact.
SMART Media for you: Our practical, project driven innovation education program produces media content to document student achievements and to share with the world. In our SMART system Students doing Media, Art and Research projects work in Teams. Be with our students as they discover and learn. Their media and your support make everything possible. Together all of us can enjoy and explore with the next generation of innovators.

Our Focus Projects: Closed loop systems, specifically food systems and biome engineering, are where our civilization needs every innovation possible. Human space exploration is where innovations now considered impossible will come from. In our focused, interdisciplinary program students study both. This also works to build a hybrid resource based economy (H-RBE) to parallel and stabilize our current cyclical economic system. We bring space science down to Earth.
- Global Star Finder (GSF) introduces students to astronomy and robotics with a mini-observatory on every campus. Observatory system design and engineering development is in cooperation local partner organizations. We will find bright star students around the world with GSF.
- Mars Deca Direct is mission planning the permanent settlement of Mars and more. On campus this drives projects in data science, design, exovivaria, robotics, systems and beyond.
- Foodplus is our food science project to help feed the world, local farm to local table plus shelf stable products. Students experience the marketing cycle, operations at every level and product development. Staff and students enjoy Foodplus campus meals together.
Vision: Our campus and curriculum designs scale up as a network. We intend to support a new innovation generation across the developing world and beyond. Each campus is self-sufficient under normal operating conditions and they support each other through the network. SRG also works with industry partners in our focus fields to spin off projects that provide our graduates with careers.
We build our small schools where the local people need opportunity. International students may attend our individually tailored post-secondary program. Options include formally published, peer reviewed research projects, documentary films and more. Makerspace focused projects are also supported on a case by case basis. International students have structured opportunities for cultural exchange with the host community and comfortable accommodations. As visiting researchers and makers students have a great experience and leave a legacy of scientific or artistic accomplishment. This is how the innovation generation grows worldwide.
